The number has increased ever since there has been much publicity about the industry picking up. There are 2 groups of people we are reaching out to: A) Graduates from CG related courses We have come across many who were quite lost when it comes to preparing their showreel and portfolio. Many showreel and portfolio does not speak well for the artists. It does not demonstrate that the artist has the capability to take on a specific role in the production. A lack of interaction between the artists and the industry is one of the causes of it. Hence no matter how many companies we have introduced to them, they still failed the interview. B) A and O levels students and those who decided to enter the industry. With the increased in publicity, many have been taking up both public and private courses without a clear idea of the industry and what is expected out of them. First, they need to have a clear idea what is the role they want to play and what kind of skillset is required to take on the job. Only then they will know how to choose the right program to assist them in preparing oneself for the specific job role they want to play in a production. Learning with an objective in mind is important. " How to prepare yourself for the CG industry " Introducing SAC and what we do.
