Notice is hereby given to members for SSC Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) to
resolve several issues, see attached paper. We will also be screening this year's SIGGRAPH
Electronic Theater, http://www.siggraph.org/publications/video-review/sig2002/141.html. So,
come and network and be thrilled by the screening of the world's best animation works.

EOGM Paper

An ACM SIGGRAPH delegation visited Singapore on 5 April this year. The goal of this delegation was to help establish Computer Graphics and Interactive techniques as a leading regional research and application activity. Arising from the above visit, a Regional Computer Graphics Conference, Graphite is mooted. At a recent SSC management meeting to discuss Graphite conference and the formation of SEAGraph http://www.seagraph.org, we have decided to incorporate SEAGraph as a regional branch of SSC. Hence, the constitution has to be amended. We would also like to take the opportunity to amend other clauses if needed.

The current SSC constitution can be found in:

The following amendments are suggested:

1. Incorporation of SEAGraph (South East Asia Graphics Association) as the regional branch of SSC and to adopt its logo.

2. Clause 3c To support activities complimentary to the ACM, SIGGRAPH, and other ACM and SIGGRAPH activities in Singapore.

- to append "and countries in South East Asia".

3. Clause 6.2 a Annual subscriptions are payable as follow:
Voting members: 30 Singapore Dollars.
Student members: 10 Singapore Dollars.
    Clause 6.3 For retiree memberships, the annual subscription is reduced by half.

- To change the fixed amount listed to "as determined by the management committee".

4. Clause 8.1 Chairman and Vice Chairman to be known as President and Vice President, respectively. This is in line with a similar change in the ACM SIGGRAPH titles.
